For this month’s Taste & Learn we have something exceptional in store for you as our pairing will feature wines from the Castello Banfi winery located in Montalcino, Italy. Banfi was established in the beautiful Tuscan countryside in 1978 by the Mariani family, who set out to cultivate something good for the local community that could be shared with the world. Now, of course, it is one of Tuscany’s most famous wineries and helped make the exquisite Brunello di Montalcino renowned around the world. On this special Saturday evening, Feb. 23, at 5 p.m. I will have the pleasure of sharing their exceptional wines with I miei amici in Las Vegas!
Chef Francesco will prepare some exquisite accompanying dishes that pair with the wines to provide you with a truly incredible experience. On that evening, we will enjoy:
- Pinot Grigio, San Angelo, 2017, Carciofi (artichoke, arugula, crescenza cheese)
- Rosso di Montalcino, 2016, Frantoiana (Tuscan vegetable soup)

- Amarone, Santori, 2013, Lombata (grilled strip loin, red onion, salsa verde)
