Ferraro’s Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar invites guests to experience the next Taste & Learn on Saturday, May 21, at 5 p.m. Taste & Learn is Ferraro’s popular, monthly wine-tasting and education event that provides illuminating wine education along with a menu of expertly prepared, authentic Italian small plates crafted by Chef Mimmo Ferraro.

The May Taste & Learn event spotlights wines from the Cesari winery. Founded in 1936, Cesari is renowned for its fine, elegant wines from the Verona province located in Northern Italy. Guests will begin the tasting with a 2019 Cesari Pinot Grigio, a dry and well-balanced white wine with hints of apple and pear. Second on the menu is the 2019 Cesari Valpolicella Classico – a dry, velvety red wine with hints of wild berries and sweet, dark jam. The 2017 Cesari Valpolicella Superiore Ripasso is a bold red blend boasting hists of ripe cherry and a warm finish. Lastly, guests will end the tasting with a full-bodied red 2016 Cesari Amarone featuring mild hists of vanilla and spice.

“Cesari has been making fine wines in Verona for nearly 90 years and we are thrilled to share some of our favorites with guests at our next Taste & Learn event,” said Gino Ferraro, owner, Ferraro’s.
