Ferraro’s Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar invites guests to experience the next Taste & Learn on Saturday, April 23, at 5 p.m. Taste & Learn is Ferraro’s popular, monthly wine-tasting and education event that provides illuminating wine education along with a menu of expertly prepared, authentic Italian small plates crafted by Chef Mimmo Ferraro.
The April Taste & Learn event spotlights wines from the Ghibello and Uggiano wineries in Italy. Guests will begin the tasting with Ghibello Vermentino, a floral white blend with notes of jasmine and peach blossom pairing perfectly with seafood. Next on the menu is Ghibello Chianti, a smooth red wine made from Sangiovese grapes containing notes of fresh cherry and red plum. Uggiano Brunello – a full-bodied red offers a rich and well-rounded harmonious taste. Taking its name from the land where the vineyard is situated Uggiano Campo Del Re is the ideal red blend pairing for beef.
