I cannot believe it myself, but this week marks 30 years since Rosalba and I first opened Ferraro’s in Las Vegas. In fact, Mayor Carolyn Goodman has declared Friday, November 6, “The Ferraro Family Day in Las Vegas.” What an honor!
In three decades, we’ve not only seen Ferraro’s grow into the award-winning fine-dining restaurant known by people around the world—but also raised three children and welcomed five grandchildren into the family. And – despite the pressures and fast pace of running a successful restaurant — we still take time to gather around a table together each Sunday as a family to share a meal together. Our secret to 30 years of success? We did it together, as a family.
Today, my son Mimmo and his wife Nikki are growing our family’s business in Las Vegas with Pizza Forte locations at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and Sunset Station. But as busy as they are, you’ll still see Chef Mimmo here at Ferraro’s most nights of the week. He is joined by our new executive chef, Francesco di Caudo, who shares our passion for authentic Italian dishes, but has also introduced a variety of imaginative new recipes to our kitchen.
This weekend and next, I personally invite you to celebrate with us. On November 6, 7 and 8, and again on November 13, 14 and 15, we will offer a special four-course anniversary menu for $30.30.
