Ferraro’s Ristorante invites guests to an exclusive wine dinner featuring Tuscan winemaker Il Borro on Wednesday, May 14, at 6 p.m. Wine enthusiasts are invited to experience an extraordinary evening centered on Il Borro’s prestigious collection, paired perfectly with a curated multi-course menu from executive chef Mimmo Ferraro. Attending the event will also be Salvatore Ferragamo, owner of Il Borro and president of the iconic Italian fashion house bearing his name.
Located in the heart of Tuscany, Il Borro is a historic estate dating back over one thousand years. Since its restoration by the Ferragamo family, Il Borro has become internationally celebrated for its commitment to exceptional winemaking. The estate’s wines express the character of the land, the elegance of tradition and the innovation of modern techniques.
The dinner will begin with Bolle di Borro 2017, a sparkling rosé made from 100% Sangiovese, offering delicate bubbles and bright notes of wild strawberry and citrus. Next, guests will enjoy Estate Chardonnay 2023, a fresh and elegant wine with aromas of white flowers, ripe pear and subtle vanilla. The third wine of the evening, Pian di Nova 2020, reveals rich layers of dark cherry and plum with hints of spice and soft tannins. Finally, Il Borro 2020, the estate’s flagship red blend, delivers a complex and full-bodied profile with bold flavors of blackberry, licorice and toasted oak, finishing with refined structure and depth.
