Ferraro’s invites guests to an exclusive five-course dinner on Thursday, September 29, featuring wines from Terlan and expertly prepared, authentic Italian dishes crafted by Chef Mimmo Ferraro. Located in Northern Italy, Terlan is renowned across the globe for both its red and white wine varieties. In the region, wine production dates back to pre-Roman times, thanks to the area’s fine climate.
The Terlan dinner will begin with the Terlaner Cuvee Pinot Bianco & Chardonnay, a blend of 60 percent Pinot Bianco, 30 percent Chardonnay, and 10 percent Sauvignon Blanc. Second on the menu is the Vorberg Pinot Bianco, a brilliant white wine featuring notes of honeydew, white peach, pear, and apple. Next, the Monticol Pinot Nero includes a dark ruby red color and an intense bouquet of red berries and spices. The following wine, the Terlan Lagrein Porphyr, offers notes of licorice, coffee beans, vanilla, clove, and black tea. Lastly, guests will finish the dinner with Vinsanto, Italy’s ultimate sweet dessert wine.
“Terlan will be one of Ferraro’s most exclusive wine dinners to date,” said Gino Ferraro, owner of Ferraro’s. “We are thrilled with the wine selection and know our guests will rave about the distinctive flavors.”
