Ciao, tutti!
I think the desert summer heat has finally arrived, no? We nonetheless hope you will brave the 100-degree temperatures and join us for an exciting Taste & Learn, to be held Saturday, July 27, at 6 p.m. You will be greatly rewarded in multiple ways for doing so, I assure you…
First of all, if you haven’t yet been in the restaurant since the completion of our renovation earlier this month, you will be able to see the fresh, new improvements we have made. We know you’ll appreciate the way the changes make the whole atmosphere lighter and more contemporary.
Secondly, as always, our talented Chef Francesco has planned another one-of-a-kind menu to pair with excellent wines from the century-old, Sardinian Sella & Mosca winery. Originally founded by two Piemontese businessmen in 1899, the winery in Alghero, Sardinia, encompasses one of the largest estates in all of Europe; visitors to the region may take guided tours there. Sella & Mosca are known for making excellent white wines with the Vermentino grape, as well as red wines with Cannonau—a local term for Grenach—as well as Cabernet Sauvignon and indigenous grape varieties. We will be sampling four exceptional, delicately balanced yet vibrant wines together at this event.
Our menu for the evening follows:
- Taste & Learn is an educational presentation as well as an excellent food and wine experience. We want everyone to enjoy everything about the evening, so please be courteous and attentive while our presenters are speaking.
- Both the wine merchant and our Chef will say a few words at each course. Please refrain from tasting the wine or the dish until they have each spoken.
- Due to the ongoing popularity of our events, we have implemented assigned seating to ensure all parties attending together may sit together.
